I'm going back to school to become a computer programmer

you should look into some of the IU IT Training classes, they offer HTML and CSS classes, great way to get started and see if a career in IT would interest you :) IU also offers free Lynda.com video training, they're great, I've watched several of them. https://ittraining.iu.edu/lynda/
